"...from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love."
- Eph. 4:16 (NKJV)
When we serve together as men at ARCF, we grow together.
Serving is such a critical part of spiritual growth - for each of us personally, and for edifying the church corporately. In serving, we discover how God has gifted each one differently and how every person has a very important and meaningful role to play in building our church family - and indeed, God's Kingdom!
One of the areas where we enjoy serving, is with our Power Teams. These are groups of about four or five men who make themselves available to assist individuals (typically single ladies or seniors) in the church with tasks that they would otherwise be unable to do on their own.
Apart from the fulfilment that comes from knowing that you've helped someone in our church family, this is also a great way to learn some new skills from some of the more experienced tradesmen in our church. One of the long term goals of this ministry is to see informal apprenticeships emerge from the skills that we share with one another.
